Hey, I too have one of these Ricochet skid plates, and I gotta say it's a great piece of equipment. I love hearing rocks bounce off it (validates my purchase!) and few days ago I was crossing a log and made good hard contact on the skid plate, nice to know it was there doing it's job.

Received my plate and immediately headed to the garage to install it. Went on without a hitch. Only minor problem was tighening the left bracket. It kept twisting out of position when I torqured the bolt.
Couple days later I was cruising up a very rocky trail when I heard a load clang. The kind of clang that says somethings broke. At first I was afraid to look. Then I remembered the Ricochet and twisted the throttle a little more. No fear!
