Well I rejetted with a DJ kit and just installed an HMF Comp series slip on. While I was testing it out (it's like a new bije now!) I smelled something burning that I though was plastic or a chemical. When I got back I noticed I had a light smoke coming out of the exhaust. Is this normal for new pipes, some kind of oil inside or something?????

normal. i used gasket maker when i put on my header too. Its the same thing... smells and smokes... it will go away....

 

Spray some WD40 inside it to lubricate the muffler bearings
