I took it on the freeway today....NOWHERE near as fun as i thought it would be...I was FULL THROTTLE half of the journey (17 miles total) trying to keep up with traffic on an INSANE headwind...IIRC i was at 7500-8000RPM. I saw a top speed of 84mph downhill on the bridge. If i keep 70 or less without wind it is a JOY to cruise the freeway...Anything else is really wringing the bikes neck.

Will the big bore, carb, pipe and cams, make it alot easier to cruise on the freeway? I would like to regear for around 6000 rpm or so at 75mph, but be able to hold it in the headwind. I know its a huge jump in power, but i do need this bike to be good for those speeds for 15-20 minute jaunt down the road. Otherwise...I LOVE this thing, around town is the most fun ive every had! Im just hoping the 1200$ in parts will put me where i need to be, vs selling it in a few months and buying a bigger SM?
