Also, open-up the air box by at least removing the snorkel. More air in + more air out + rejet = more power. Just be sure to rejet BEFORE you open the air box.

Tremor knows whats best. I did exactly what he said and I feel a big differance. Instead of doing the front sprocket I just changed the rear. I think it made a huge differance. I put a 47 tooth on and I feel it pull in all the right gears. When it comes to changing tires go with the pirelli mt21 and go with a TrakmasterII 110/100-18 rear. Its taller than the normal tire but it fits fine on the 06.. Rubs on the little mud flap in the front but no biggy just push it out the way

just remember that each tooth added up front is equal to three in the rear. so 13/42 is the same as 14/45. stock gearing is best for on-road riders.
