Hi Guys,

Thought I'd sign up here as there is some good info.

Got a 2009 KLX250SF bone stock as my first bike back in November 2015 with 6k miles.
I currently have a little over 9K now and enjoy it daily.

Got rid of the stock IRC tires and put some Shinko 705's on since I have been finding myself off road alot recently. Still a bit squirmy on the slightest bit of wet stuff offroad. Looked into a dedicated offroad set but they are hard to come by and my front fender will rub . Maybe I will just get some 50/50 tires but I also like to have my share of fun on the road.

Currently have:
Moose Racing hand guards
Dyno Jet kit
Uniflo filter
FMF Q4
short levers
and just plasti dipped using a scheme I liked on the Post Pics thread.

My fork seals are leaking too, just went through and scrubbed some plastic inbetween the seal and fork for a quick fix every few weeks when it leaks. Probably have to order up some new seals and fluid in a few weeks

Not sure if you can embed video here or not but here is a video of the bike with new plasti dip and a 15 mile off road adventure.

Nice man, what short levers do ya have, and where did you get them? I'm looking for a short break lever only for my 09.

Don't understand why your fender would rub?

Thanks

Hey Werloc,

I got them off ebay, just seach "US Ship 1 pair Brake Clutch Levers For Kawasaki NINJA 250R 08-12 210 2011". They were $20.

No problems with them for 6 months, fit was good.
