I like your choices, 6thgear, the green looks awesome to me. I've been looking at getting some new gear. But since my helmet isn't really "green" I may not be going with such a green color scheme like you have.
Only had my bike a couple months and only been out on the trails one weekend. Right now my gear is a pair of jeans, hiking boots, a long sleeve shirt, some gray gardening gloves, and the helmet pictured below.

They have alot of good deals. I've already ordered a second set of jerseys and pants for about $55 shipped. So pretty good deal considering the distance they are shipping.
I was riding jeans/long sleeve as well, and I gotta say it's alot more comfortable in the riding gear..lol
