^ yea I have the regular tusk guards on atm... but I was thinking the other day about the rear exhaust side blinker, and how it's all mucked up from my accident last season. Then I realized I can install the tusk guards with blinkers built in and clean up the bikes look, increase my visibility, and gain a few extra turn signals without paying the butt rape price of 45 bucks for each OEM for a blinker. :-D

Anyone's thoughts on leaving it or removing it. I assume it serves no purpose now.
I took the whole switch and harness out of there (minus the 3" I clipped and spliced together). I have been sticking all my stock take-offs in a box, in case I ever want to sell and someone wants to return it to its stock configuration.

Leaving the switch on just keeps unnecessary weight down there, and all but guarantees it won't work (from being caked with mud/submerged) if you ever want to hook it up again. I'd take it off if I were you.

I tried to search this forum but can't find definitive answer regarding the ground problem if it had been resolved. I rev mine and held to 6500 rpm and it seems ok.

I love my 2010! It has about 2500 miles on it now. I finally have it pretty well sorted out. 4" of rise on the bars (I may go a little higher), .48 fork springs, rear shock is finally dialed in, good knobbies (Kenda Trackmaster II's), good seat (Bill Mayer), Acerbis tank, etc, etc, etc.

Spent four days in Death Valley last week, had a blast. Was riding whoops at WOT in 3rd and 4th gear (depending on the trail), and sand was a total non-issue. Also some pretty rocky sections too.

I did manage to crash on Saturday which did some very minor damage... should have that sorted out today. My arm will take a while longer though.

WHAT do you recommend if I want to put some on my 2012 KLX250s when I get it?
I think it might just add a touch of visibility "Bright Green" to the other drivers.

Thanks

Stashu
I put Moose Racing "Contours", black color on my 2007. Just had Seat Concepts redo my seat and that is all black now instead of the black and green, so the black barkbusters and the seat look sharp together. By the way, recommend Seat Concepts. Seat is as good as a Corbin/Sargent and the price was about 180.00.

I'm also new like you. I jchanged the front sprocket to 13t, bought new tires kenda trackmaster 2 , I ride mostly trails I air my tires 16 back and 14 front , I have rim locks so no flats for me yet. Also bought heavy duty hand guards and bash plate. I dropped my bike a couple of times on my first ride but I'm improving and can go faster now on turns. Thanks to new tires. Also bought garmin oregon 550t gps so for the first time, I did not get lost.
I wear complete mx riding gear btw when im trail riding. I do get a lot of stares during traffic. I ride from my house straight to the trail. It's 3 to 8 miles depending on where I would like to go.
