I don't mind "playing with it". Not meccesarily personally, but my buddy's buddy John works for thumper racing and can do up the head for $200 (larger valves, porting for street use not race use, parts paid by me), if I recall correctly he's done a few heads for the klx with positive results, I can inquire about deshrouding the head, it might be something that is required with larger intake valves and isn't necessarily up to debate with having someone work on your head, thus we don't hear about it. But if in fact it is NOT commonly done, the results would be interesting.

My pumper is scheduled to arrive today!! I that means possibly this weekend or the next I will be 351!!

Maybe I missed it...which pumper did you go with? Have fun with it. Even if you feel nothing else out of it, you'll notice the more instantaneous punch when you whack that throttle.
