Default need help, my klx suddenly cannot start, no spark

Thanks in advance should anyone could help me...

my klx250 year 2012 injection/fi...suddenly cannot turn on the engine, the engine was turn during start up ignition but cannot on, I have checked the coil and turn it on but no spark...engine switch working normal on and off...the electricity for horn and lights still ok, i have brought to local kawasaki dealer but after scan test everything running normal as they said and they also dont know the problem so i take it home.

battery is ok and this bike only 5000kmh with normal usage,
does anyone experience the same problem ? and maybe anyone can help me out...

I have made a called to other kawasaki and said the condition and they said its probably ECU problem, does ECU problem shows this condition ?

I am thinking it might wirring problem but dont know where to start since I dont have the knowledge,,,

again thank you

First make sure that you spark plug wire is attached well at both ends. Take it apart and reassemble, then check for spark.
And make sure your grounds are good.
Start simple and work your way to more advanced problems. It is almost always something simple...
Good luck.
Hopefully some FI guys can help you more.

And are you sure your battery is good? Did you load test it?
Just thinking a less than good battery might not run the FI system, but I don't know that.

Hi MaximusPrime : )

finally after check ECU by changing with friend of mine and still doesnt work, even check the battery is also ok..then I check the wiring the one that connected to charging dynamo and found one of them broken/cut, its probably happened when the mechanic take off the safety slider since I want to use in dirt track....after i reconnect it then everything is back to normal again, only wondering why ECU cannot detect it.

anyway, thanks for your reply...its solved now and i start to play again...

Not sure about the KLX but the Suzuki DRZ 400 has a spark signal component(primary signal coil) build into the stator and if this wire is cut it won't run.
