I own a 1997 Kaw-Vulcan 500 LTD. I cannot seem to find the air filter, so I can check/replace it. Thank you

I assume part # 11013 is the air filter that should be cleaned/replaced...under that assumption I was able to find and remove it...WOW the guy that owned the bike before me must have never done anything to it...it appears to be made out of foam or something similar and its torn up and is totally black. Any suggestions on a replacement? I was just going to head to my local Kawasaki dealer and get whatever they had.

the factory filter is fine, unless you want to stand up and pay for a k&n filter. if your not into adjusting the carbs i'd stick to the factory filter.
