My clutch is very hard to pull in, and gives me major arm pump and cramping after a few hours of technical single track riding. I normally ride pretty hard for 6 to 8 hours on the days I ride. They don't list a kit for the KLX, but I'm sure I can make it work with little bracket mod from what I see. If you don't mind, could you post some pics of yours and give me an honest opinion on how it works? How much easier is the pull, is the pull still long enough to work well, etc..?? I'm still on the fence. The cable unit is much cheaper for sure.
I'll try to get some pics. I have a Brembo clutch on my Husqvarna. I ended up putting an MME lever (moves the pivot point to make the pull even lighter, and makes the engagement zone larger, plus is a 2-finger shorty lever.) The biggest benefit for me with the hydraulic on the husky compared to the KLX is how smooth it is. I think, though, that you lose a tiny bit of 'feel' with the hydraulic compared to the cable. The easy pull has 3 different levels of pull, so you can adjust it as you like. I took a broken clutch lever and shortened it to be a 2-finger lever - then I can trip the bars with the outer 2 fingers, and clutch with the inside 2 (or just use one finger for the clutch.) The pull with the easy pull setup is definitely lighter and helped me a little with muscle cramps. There's an added benefit with the easy pull, like the MME lever on the Husky, that it made the engagement zone larger, so it makes it easier and smoother to slip the clutch a little in tight terrain. I do take the easy pull 'box' apart every few months and re-lube it - since there's a cable going in and one going out, it's not totally sealed, so a cleaning and lubing once in a while is necessary - usually once you feel the pull isn't as smooth. Only 'issue' I found was that the 'box' tended to turn sometimes (I think the front brake cable going up or down would catch it on occasion and rotate it), if this happened enough it actually adjusted the clutch freeplay, sometimes I would have too much freeplay. I'm sure a zip-tie would solve the problem, but since it only happens after weeks or months of riding, it hasn't really bothered me.

It's fairly hard to justify the extra $ for the Magura hydraulic setup - it's nice to have, but I don't think that it's 4X as nice... If you do go with the Magura and really want so spend some more money and get an even easier pull, get an MME (Midwest Mountain Engineering) clutch lever - they make ones for Brembo and Magura setups.

I bought from my local motorcycle store, and if I recall, they only carried 1 model, and it came with a few different length/type pull cables - to go from the box to the clutch perch.

On the Moose racing site, they only seem to offer one model: EASY PULL CLUTCH SYSTEM | Product | Moose Racing

I was wondering if you ever took pictures of your Easy Pull unit installed? I plan to order the Moose EZ3 Clutch Perch assembly tomorrow Monday. I'd really like to see yours. I like the idea of adding length to my cable.

Thanks

FWIW From a post of mine from a year ago: "I just installed an '08 KLR650 clutch cable (p/n 54011-0556) on my '09 KLX250S. Went on quickly and easily. I had previously installed Pro-Taper handle bars, 3/4" risers and Tusk Lever Guards; which caused the clutch to disengage when turning a slow, hard left no matter how much I adjusted the OEM cable. My disengagement issues are now gone. Cost $14.17, plus shipping from No Limit Power Sports. The '08 cable is a different design (although the connects at either end of the cables are identical), but it works just as smoothly as the OEM."

I don't have any cable length issues.
