Default Ouch! (My Ego hurts)

Daggum Cagers! I went to make a right turn on red and all was clear. This Bimbo decides at the last second to lane dive straight towards me to get into the Ripoff Shell station. I had to stop short 1/2 way around the turn. Of course the Klx falls to the right and there's a foot deep rutt right where my right foot is. I couldn't help but lay it down. The back of my right leg is real sore right now and my mirror was knocked out of adjustment. Mostly, I just felt like a dork being watched by cagers as I picked my Baby back up. I gotta say though, The mirrors take a beating and also keep the Radiator shrouds from getting busted. The great thing is right after my drop, I found an awesome riding spot with logs and jumps galore. It's a giant lot barely visible from the road and you have to climb over a nasty hill to get into it. No Keep out signs......Yet. I had a blast even with my hurt leg.

Thanks man, I'm fine now but the leg is gonna be sore for a while. You're right about staying on our toes. Don't wanna get run over for sure. I don't think she ever saw me.

Sorry to hear about your incident bro. With cell phones, text messaging and the rest of the distractions out there, people ae looking out for others less and less. As a rule, I always assume that drivers can't see me and will pull out in front of me.

I wear a decent pair of Harley boots but they're not as good as real dirt bike riding boots. I just pulled a muscle in my upper leg trying to keep from laying it down.

That bites! I hope the Harley wasn't too bad off. I need to remember to never get too confident on the street. Stuff happens in the blink of an eye maybe even faster. I looked and all was clear. Looked again and she was barrelling right toward me. Had to hit the brakes hard while turning. I could have turned harder to the right but there's a Pole with a cable right at the corner.
