Who other than starcycle and Muzzys carries our exhaust at a good price? Thanks.

 

Well, I answered my own question. My local dealer ordered it in for me. Grizzly Sports for you local people (GreenOne). He is getting the full system and quiet core/spark arrestor for 390.00 plus tax. I turned the big gun around when it showed up on the UPS truck today and sent it back to starcycle. I hope they choke on it. If you don't want to get screwed, stay away from starcycle.

 

Hey Navyman - that seems like a decent price and is exactly what I paid for my Muzzy + spark arrester + quiet insert + shipping. So getting it from your local guy at that price is pretty good, plus you support your local shop. BTW, I bought my Muzzy from Starcycle and didn't have any problems. I was anticipating it to take a while, though, since everyone had it back-ordered at the time, so my expectations were set accordingly.

 

Yeah, a guy needs low expectations with them. They lied to me 3 times(!) about when to expect the Muzzys and then the Big Gun when the Muzzys fell through. They tried to guilt trip me into not cancelling the order and then sent it anyway hoping I'd just accept it. What creeps.

They were very fair priced at $368 for the muffler set and $30 for the quiet core and spark arrester.
To the 48 states they offerered free shipping. For Hawaii I was expecting a terrible shipping price. But, they only will charge me $15 (the difference of Hawaii and mainland shipping.

They were very honest about the expected delivery basically Muzzy has a current production run of 25 which are already "sold." Muzzy won't do another run for another 4 to 6 weeks. Pipecity won't charge my card until they ship. I have many good things to say about them... I will wait until the order is actually shipped though...

The prices I got from them are much better than from Muzzy direct who wanted to charge over $100 just for shipping (and higher price for the main parts).

I think I will do a thread about shipping costs once I get more information. Some places are just retarded. They insist on using fedex or UPS out to Hawaii and charge $45 where the same part (actually several of them) could fit in a USPS Priority Flat rate box for $8.50. I think they forget that Hawaii is in the "states" and the Postal Priority Mail works just fine

 

A little more than starcycle, but I would certainly pay a little more for an honest dealer.
