Default muzzy vs. hmf vs. two bros. sound report

On the Lackawanna ride there were two of us riding muzzys, one hmf slipon and one two bros. slipon. Please note that this is by my not so trained ear, no db. meter and not lining the bikes up side by side. As far as sound(noise) goes the muzzy and hmf seemed to have the same tone and seemed tohave the same noise levels through out the rpm range. The two bros was much quieter at idle and through the lower rpms. When it got into the higher rpmsit seemed to be at the same noise level as the muzzy and the hmf. As far as looks go they all looked like quality pipe, but I was veryimpressed with the look of the two bros. It was a very nice looking pipe. It may also be the choice for people that are a little noise concerned. I was running the S/A and quite core in the muzzy and also noted that Dave had a S/A in the hmf. I am assuming that he also had a quite core in.

Default RE: muzzy vs. hmf vs. two bros. sound report

my own opinion is that i would give upa little power for a quieter pipe. i'm curious to hear how that fmf pipe compares to the muzzy as far as db's go. awhile back a friend had an fmf slipon on his drz and as i recall it wasn't anywhere near as loud as my muzzy.
