Default muzzy exhaust

Does anyone know if there is a difference between the 07 and 09 full exhausts made by Muzzy? I looked at their website and there are different part numbers and a difference of about $20. I figure I can spend the $20 on shippong if an 07 will work on an 09.

The '09 has a differently shaped muffler, more oval, I THINK so that it clears the plastics / signal better, but I'm not positive. IMHO the '09 muffler looks better, if that's worth $20 IDK.

Thanks, just what I was looking for. Did it end up melting the signal or does it have enough clearance?

Someone (JE maybe?) said that it wasn't melting his signals. Might be someone else, but I thought it was JE2000.

I've had no melting signal with my 09 Muzzy. Nor have I had any fit issues(but I already had passenger pegs off). No regrets here. Some on the forum don't like the Muzzy's look but I wasn't going for "cute factor".
