i think the oil gimic is bull****...as long as you change the oil regularly and get the recommend theres really no reason to get $12 quarts of oil...

I agree totally with the guy above.

I change my oil every 1,000 miles when the engine is hot, sometimes the filter and some times not.

I LOOK at the oil in the direct sun to see how much crap is in the oil. I can see 1,000 miles is just about right. The stuff I see in the oil will still be there weather the oil is purple synthetic or NAPA 10W40.

It only holds a quart and a quarter if the filter is not changed and takes a few minutes. $5.00 insurance.

Take your oil in the drain pan outside in the direct sunlight. LOOK at it, stir with your finger or screwdriver if yer a woos. SEE the stuff in the oil.
