Moles Road Trip (lots of pics?)
Alright Folks,
The Mole has decided to post one of our outings here on the forum. Here on the west coast, we wait till fall to ride because of the weather. Well when a friend said they were going to El Mirage dry lake (California's solution to Bonnilve Salt Flats!) to run a car, the Mole was In!

Here is the Mole and my daughter posing for the Forum picture!

Then you let the 14 year old loose on the lakebed!........Hmmm Dad 20 years ago!

My daughter and one of the other girls wanted to try a little geocaching, so the Mole grabbed the GPS and the hunt was on..15 miles later the girls found the cache! An ammo box stuffed between some rock full of a bunch of swag (useless stuff) but we signed the log book and added a cache card to the find!.

The Moles mule....it was cold when you ride, but when you stop...you roasted....pitch the gear!

After we get back, I ask my daughter to tak a "nice" photo of me and the bike for the Forum, Well here it is....

And no that is not our trailer.. we have the poor 18 ft Wanderer Wagon that is not shown.........but this wagon showed up about 9pm rolling across the lakebed. We could hear the music blasting..and these folks have the rolling lakebed party on wheels!..Corvair powered party pit on wheels. the AC compressor powers the beer cooler, and well ..you get it seats about 15...all the beer you can drink........ect... ect....

Of course the Mole and my daughterhad to get into the photo\!

Well folks, I dont remember much after the rolling bar showed up but, what I do recall was that the wind blew so damm hard the next morning that the SCTA races were cut short, and we had a wild ride home towing the trailer in 45mph gusting winds!

That party wagon is wild. Thats the best use for a corvair I've ever seen. It's cool your daughter and her friend ride with you. Hopefully my kids (if I can convince their mother) will want to ride and hang out with dear old dad. Thanks for sharing :-)
That looks like a good time, well done Mr.Mole!
That rolling bar is a pisser, Cool Change carries one of those on the back of his KLX. You have to be careful riding behind him & keep your eyes open for flying objects

You Sob divo.lol If I didn't have to ride 95mph through 8 miles of whoops just to see eveyones dust trail, maybe I would quit "lobbing" things of the back off the bike. :-)

Nice outing mole! looks like fun.
Oh common! Mill the intakes and get er on! I will say that my ninja's will put out more power per dollar in comparison though.
Thats the best use for a corvair I've ever seen.
