Modified side stand

The pipe the stand is made from is not all that thick walled. Less than 1/16" thick I'd guess...

Nice work Bill, and as far as the chain goes, looks fine to me. Just needs to be cleaned up a little and sprayed with lube.

I actually need to lengthen my side stand. My bike was tall to begin with but then I added the 606 and now the bike wants to almost tip over, I like the idea of an adjustable stand, kind of like the two sided pins poles where you push in each of the pins and can adjust. But I suppose that would get all dirty and stop working, unless you cleaned your bike like I do. hehehe

Thanks Deej! I cleaned the chain and lubed it this past weekend, and it looks a lot better now. My bikes are a lot dirtier than yours though, neither one has been washed since mid-September...

I did the exact same, hopefully a short *** like me wants to buy it when i come to selling.

Nice work Bill.

I took the easy way out and cut the stand off/welded a new plate. Getting the right angle on the bottom of the tube is the toughest part. If someone is going to do this cut it a little long first to test your angle.
