Question Mirrors?

Any cool ideas on some lower profile mirrors.Dual-star never answers there phone-are those things even legal? Not to keen on having to move my arms and body position just to see safely.I've layed this bike over at least ten times and those factory ones are indestructable, but they're too high.I'm kinda going for looks now.It would be nice to find ones that just rise a couple inches and flow parallel out with the bars. They don't necisarally have to be that strong. If I crunch 'em I'll get different ones. But like I said,I'm looking for that cooler, smaller, cleaner look.Anyone?

If you ride off road, I find the Ken Sean ones to be the best in terms of visibility. The smaller MSR ones and the clones are just for show really. I'd get the KS's. They're like $20 shipped on ebay. They're decent and will last if you remember to fully fold down before any off road shenanigans.

Demon cycle has a really cool pair, they're 80 bucks though-no thanx!I found some other more practical ones on ebay. The businesses name is Big Apple Shop, they're out of Australia. They pivot right above the base. They're rectangle lenses, and they're blued. That way I can snug 'em down close to my hands.I ordered a pair for 28 bucks. They might turn out to be vibrating piles of crap that won't stay where I want 'em too,but on the other hand they're exactly what I'm looking for.I'm going for the look, and function. Those stockers are like 2 huge tree branches growing for the sky.A little too ugly and _ay.I'm trying to take the enduro effect away from this bike as much as humanly possible. After my other threads on here,it's looking more moto every change.

What up fellerz. I'm a recent owner of a 2007 s model. I just added a set of hdb handguards and mirrors. They were a little pricey but I got a discount from advrider. I like em.

I finally did get Dual Star to answer the phone and was told it would be two weeks before new stock arrives. I keep an extra one on hand since they fall apart, cheap plastic but have not found anything that is more out of the way and low profile. Looks like someone could come up with a similar idea that has better quality at a decent price. Let me know if someone finds someting similar to Dual Star.

You were right about the feather tubes.Pretty sweet!Wish I would of ordered those instead.I think I've spent 4 hours googling every mirror in the world.I'm just picky as heck now about anything that looks to street about the bike.I truly believe in mirrors and safety, but I absolutely hate BIG,UGLY CRAP.I'm gonna keep looking till I'm satisfied.Sooner or later some perfect ones will show up.

Yep I'm pretty happy with these, and they do fold down, they look like the tip of the fender or the headlight shape,It's hard looking for mirriors and finding a pair you can see out of,whatever you do don't get barends...
