I bought it April of last year, 3 months before my 23rd b-day. You could say I've got a late start to the motorcycle scene but I've been riding 3 and 4 wheelers since I was 5. When I got home from my 60 mile ride today the ODO had just rolled over 2723 miles since last April. For what its worth, the KLX is an awesome bike to take the road test with, light weight, very tight turning radius compared to a sport bike or cruiser, and low enough gearing that you aren't going to stall it on the street. The person grading me actually said that taking it on a bike like that was almost cheating and that I could probably make some money renting it out for other people to take the test.
