Howdy all,

I was wondering if anyone regularly removes their headlight/tach/speedo assembly for track days. or is it too much of a pain in the ****?? I took the KLXto the track the other day and had a blast- did a lot better than expected- blew away some much better bikes..

I have taken my front off multiple times and it is 4 screws and unpluga wire harness. unscrew the speedo cable and make sure you plug the hole so crap doesn't get in there. Taking off should take no longer than 10 minutes install slightly longer. Can't you just cover the lens with tape to prevent shattering?
