I have been thinking about rigging up a standoff for the Muzzy underneath the right side panel to keep the panel from getting pushed into the pipe from a heavy saddlebag load. So far I have not had any problem, though. I have loaded the bags down pretty good on a few occassions with no problems.

Yes, you should do that. Sure does beat the heck out of rummaging around in the dumpster of the Jiffy Store to find a couple of empty beer cans to crush to keep your bags from burning another hole in them!

Check with Sullydirt to verify that fact!

The little commuter is looking quite spiffy! I'll bet you're really enjoying it.

A word to the wise though, be very careful! I've noticed a few times, that for some strange and unknown reason, the ride in is about 50 miles and the ride home is about 100 miles!

Do you have any idea how that might happen?

Might my headset bearings be loose?

Or do you think it's the nut holding the handlebars?

Definitely a wolf in sheep's clothing ... good job!

I'm trying to stay more dirt oriented, but with all the supermotard stuff, and now this ... the street is not looking that bad at all!

Enjoy your ride!

Both of those are likely candidates, Marty. Also, check to make sure you don't have a loose connection between the seat and the handlebars. I've had that happen on my bike before.
