Default luggage pics

Planning on doing some in state touring on the 09 klx 250s. The old lady lives 200 miles away, so in the summer most of my trips will be on the klx. Lookin for luggage racks or whatever they are called. I'd like something that i can put on and take off easy because to be honest this is a dirtbike not a touring bike. 60mpg beats the hell outa 20mpg anyday. So can I get any recommendations and pics of touring set ups. Don't plan to carry much, but lets see what you recommend.

Default Coyote

I've really enjoyed the Giant Loop Coyote bag. It works great on its own or with a pile of gear, is easily installed and removed, sits where the passenger goes, can be moved to other bikes without worrying about bracket fit, is pretty waterproof, and is soft and not very likely to catch and break your leg in the dirt. Well made. I picked up a "blemished" one for about $220 and couldn't find the blemish anywhere.

+1 on the GL Coyote. Could not recommend highly enough. So versatile, use on multiple bike and fit a hell of a lot more gear than you would think. Can also get a dry bag hooked onto the back of bag.

They are expensive however I priced racks with hard and soft luggage options and nothing come close in price.

That Giant Loop is really nice. Another alternative is:

I'm lovin the Kreiga kit. http://www.kriega.com.au/bikepacks?p...&category_id=7 I have the 'US Combo 30', which is a 10 litre and 20 litre pack package. I fit it onto the rear seat with the US Hook Straps. Works flawlessly, and the build quality is 10/10. Stays put too, didn't budge on the last two rides (over 1500km of mixed terrain.)

I really love the US Hook Strap fittings. The combo is on and off the bike in a matter of seconds. I also love the modular aspect of the Kreiga gera. I'll be getting a couple of 'US 5' packs for the side pannels before my next long desert adventure.

My bike before 'The Holland Track' ride, last April.

I've always ran Oxford luggage on my bikes. I bought it originally for my 05 636r ninja. I bought their tank bag, tail pack and saddle bags. Worked great on the ninja. Lots of tie down points on all the bags. The tank bag has flaps with magnets in them that are strong and will still work on my klx since the stock tank is metal. Also has other straps on it and came with bungees too. They are a universal bag system that has diff ways of attaching to a bike. I will try to post pics of them on my klx. They are also expandable for more room. No need for racks or anything like that.
