I havent been able to get a straight answer on wheels yet (searched several threads here, but alot of them dont agree) but I am looking for a set that will fit my 2007 KLX250s. I have read that KLX650/300/250 and KDX wheels fit, but I have also read that they dont. Anyway I am just logging for a set to mount some road worthy tires for commuting, and I havent had much luck. I am looking to spend as little money as possible. Supermoto wheels would be awesome, but I am on a tight budget. I would lace mine up with 17s but the idea is to keep 1 set for dirt riding as well. Anyway if anyone has an extra set, or has experience mounting other Kawi wheels to a KLX then please let me know.

My 2nd set of wheels with street tires on them that I use for commuting came off a 1997 kdx200. Got them both off e-bay rom the same guy for $105.00 shipped. They're nicked up a bit and I had to replace the bearings in the front but they're straight and all the spokes are good.

 

You speak the truth. Those models fit the KLX. The Hub has the same part number. You could just get some tyre irons and a set of Avon Distanzas in the 21"' and 18" sizes. Flip em as you need em.

 

yeah its almost quicker to change rubber than rims if you dont have 2 sets of rotors and an extra sprocket.

 

I'd rather swap rims than tyres personally
