Looking for rear ugly mudflap thing for an 09'
#2
I have one that was taken off with no miles on it. Make me an offer. An offer I would really like is a clutch perch for an O9. I made a trade with another member and ended up with something different(mirror does not fit)
If you are willing to order and send out a Complet clutch perch and switch(dont need the lever) Ill send you the rear mud flap assy with light and license plate bracket.(all new)

Go ahead and mod what you got, I took masking tape and made the shape I was looking for, then cut along the outside with an air cut off tool. Then went back with a block sander and fine paper and cleaned up the cut and IMHO it looks great. I had installed an edge system on mine and from certain angles from the rear you couldn't see the tail light. I took it off and modded the stock one and I like it as well if not better.

I cut mine last night. I decided I didn't like the Edge light hiding up under that plastic tail piece. I masked off the area I wanted to cut. I also masked over the light, as I cut it with the light in place. I took a cut off wheel and my cordless drill and went after it. Then I took some sandpaper and cleaned it up. Took about 20 minutes.

I hated the way mine looked, so I flipped the plate bracket, and cut it right below the plate.
Now I kinda wish I hadnt done that, I get a good bit of mud and water thrown up on the back of the bike and even me at times.
