Default loctite on SAS block off plate bolts

I bought a Bill Blue block off plate for the exhaust plate SAS
The bolts that came out appeared to have red loctite on them
The service manual says to use non permanent locking agent
I never like loctite on a bolt going into aluminum threaded hole
I think I might just a little mid grade blue- not heavy duty red
What have you done

Blue loctite would be fine. I went a different direction and used antiseize on my plate bolts since they were near the exhaust.

I used lock washers instead of loctite.

Default cleaning up under the hood

Do you guys have any pics of blockoff plates installed and plumbing removed procedures?
I would like to sanotise under the hood to clean up extra plumbing providing I wouldn't be shortchanging the engine anywhere. Prolly diffs of opinion on this one but is kickstand killswitch removal point and shoot easy?

Red loctite is a liquid. If something has already been applied to the bolts, then it's either not loctite, or it's not going to do anything since it's already dried. It's probably a rubber compound, and isn't going to glue the bolt threads.

Yep! Just remove the lower portion completely then connect the two wires together.

Thanks 426, and the sanitizing begins.
