Default Little ride today

Wow! really a beautiful weekend here.
Well the kids are at a sleep-over + the wife is taking off for her sisters for the day = go for a ride, well it was that or mow the yard and work on my to-do list that is a mile long. You only get so many perfect days each year and when they fall on the weekend you gotta take advantage of them. I'll mow the yard monday.
I headed out to a spot I found recently. Driving by I had noticed what looked like ATV tracks. Looked it up on Bing aerial view and bingo! trails!!
Old railbed.

Trail jumps off of railbed and into the woods.

I was surprised how many leaves have already fallen.

Played around quite a bit on a big hill. Hard to show how steep it is in pics. Vodka anyone?

Heres a vid I took, coming up the hill.

At the bottom of the hill I saw a remnant of someones crash. I imagined that they flipped the bike and smashed the gages.

Rode farther into the trails than I had before. Hmm starting to look like someones back yard.

End of the trail.

Heading back out. The trails are drier than they were last time, but there are still mud holes around.

Nice creek running through the woods.

Back out to the rail bed and a high speed trail run to the next town over for a wonderful $3 lunch at Mc'y Dees. I'm no farmer, but this looks like a healthy bean field.

Took the long way on some country roads to get back home. Ah the grass isn't that long anyway maybe I'll mow it Tuesday.

Its always acceptable to put off mowing the yard, in order to go riding. Always.

Can't tell for sure but it looks like the crashed bike was relatively new.

Nice pics! I'm out of riding right now from an accident so it's nice to see others pics. I did get my wife to get the KLX300 and starter up. I just wanted to get it running since it's been sitting so long, but she wanted to take it around the block a couple times.

Hey, she sounds like a keeper!! Your probably lucky she came back after onlly two laps
I always like to see other peoples ride pics, so I try to put mine up to return the favor.
Did you get hurt on the bike? Hope you heal up quickly.
Dan
