Wow, I forgot how clean and shiny they are when new. Congrats on the bike, hope it doesn't stay clean for too long.

Default New 09 KLX250s

Here's my 09 KLX! I picked it up 3-weeks ago and love it! BTW, My name is Paul & this is my first Kawasaki. I've been riding motorcycles for roughly 40 years and exclusively off-road for the last 20 years including some Hare-scrambles & Enduros. My last 3 bikes were KTMs but this time I wanted something (quiet) that I could commute to work on plus, change tires and go on a trail-ride.

So far I've installed:
Dyno Jet Stage II Kit.
Renthal CR High-bend
Moose Hand-guards
Zeta shorty clutch & Ft brake levers.

Welcome, I'm an enduro-phile also. Any plans to get into your suspension?

I bought this '09 from a buddy in January. It was stock except for the Two Bros. and DynoJet. Our recent weather hasn't been condusive to off road riding - at least not for a relative "dirt noob" like me - so I've had to be satisfied with prepping it instead of riding it, mostly.

I've been readying the bike for the WABDR this summer and CDT next year. After frequent visits from the Brown Truck of Happiness, it now has Happy-Trails SL racks and soft side bags, Kolpin fuel can, UnaBiker radiator guards, Ricochet skid plate, ProTaper bar and Tusk hand guards.

About the only things left to add are miles and dirt.

Actually, yeah the suspension is next on the task list. I've read a lot of positive responses about Moto Pro so I went to their website. I really like their invitation to give them a call but be prepared for a long conservation, which I'm going try and give them a call this week. I may call Race Tech and one other shop as well..
