LETS POST SOME PIC OF YOUR BAD @$$ KLXs
The windsheild is from an '08 KLR 650. You may be able to find one through that forum or KLR650.net.
Hey Tom, hows it going over there? One of the IT guys that works in our department in Seattle just bought the 09 KLX in green. You find any good spots to ride over there?
Anything special to know about how you mounted it?
There are quite a few logging roads that I like. There is Walker Valley for the more aggressive single track. Snow has limited the riding now.

I just used a couple of small bolts from my bolt kit. You need to drill the holes for them at a slight angle to match the contour of the screen. I made the holes (on the bike) a little bigger by accident, so I cut a small piece of tube just a little longer than the thickness of the plastic on the shield and made a bushing. I also added acouple of foam blocks to the side to keep the vibration to a minimum. I still need to smooth these out. The top and bottom are notched and held in place by tension.

Have a great Christmas!
