Thanks, glad you like them. We were both styling heavily I did wonder if my bike weighed what his trailer did.

So i bought a drz 400 last week. Went for 2 big rides and already putting it up for sale. The klx ergonomic wise the klx fits me sooooooooooooo much better than the drz. So glad the guy that was looking at my bike didnt take it. Maybe looking for a big bore kit ad kx fork swap shortly. Im loving my little green bike

I rode a DRZ Breifly before as well. Yea the extra torque is nice.. but the ergonomics are so odd on that bike.

It felt more like a street bike than a dirtbike.

Roger That. My buddy has a DRZ, way to tall and felt unfit for agressive single track. So I bought my 09 KLX and very happy with it. Didn't care for the WRR either.

Do you mean the WR250R? I have been wondering if that bike might eventually replace my '09 KLX250S for 80 dirt / 20% roads exploring where I need a plate. Seems to be getting good reviews... maybe the suspension is more evolved?

I like the KLX anywhere I need a plate to get between trails. But to me it is very heavy. For any singletrack where I know I will be picking the bike up and backing it up by hand, I use my '08 CRF230F.

WRR is heavier at 295 lbs.

Most reviews say the suspension is slightly better, but it's still not good enough not to warrant re-valving and re-spring.

It's also quite tall.

I'd ride one and see how you like it though. I wouldn't say it's much of an upgrade from a KLX, but if it suits you better, then it might be.

Default Washing my bike

Washing the bike - day out riding around North Yorkshire.

There is something I like about about a river crossing - perhaps the fear of / relief in not having an early bath.

Default KLX250 Supermoto/Streetfighter

2014 KLX250S

I have owned it for about a year now. Been slowly turning it into a Supermoto/Streetfighter type bike. Ill post everything I've done to it and what I still plan on doing to it when I get a chance, for now, have at it.

Yeah, 4 of my riding buddies have them. You can't go by the reviews. They give ratings to a stock bike including stuff like tires that we change out. WR250R is much taller and is heavier. A lot love the EFI, but not me. Very expencive to mod. None of them can touch me in the woods. I think the suspention is very close. Good advice above. You gotta ride one and see. Not everyone likes the same.

Damn Amunoz, that thing must be crazy loud with that exhaust.

I thought it was one of those Zero electric bikes at first with how simplified it looks.

Is there an air-filter attached directly to the carb? Are you using the stock CVK still??
