I highly recommend trail mirrors like this one. It makes for a much cleaner look when you are standing up on the pegs. Sometimes I forget I am on a dualsport. The mirror looks great and it is always positioned correctly.

yes it is. I park the bike outside in Worcester, MA and it has not been stolen yet. Wasn't too expensive around $20 on rockymtn. Sometimes I keep the bike in storage. Nothing gets my goat like a big set of mirrors in my face when I am standing up on the pegs.

Night riding, Atlanta, May 2020 it's a 2009 with Bill's 351 top end, that Mikuni, an FMF Q4, IMS tank and some other stuff.

Mostly a street rider cause I'm a geezer who lives in the city and only been riding anything for less than 3 years (mountain bikes since the 80s in California/Georgia). Thinking about working it up in a style that is somewhere between super moto (but keeping these wheels) and an urban tracker/scrambler look. Don't want to black it out but might change the white side cover to black and remove the fork guard. Will the 2009 black super moto side cover fit this S model?

i think some new white ones would look better, those look really faded. As for the dash and light, i'd keep the dash and put a led pod or small bar on.
