I'm not sure where Bethel Ridge is, I just moved to Washington. I took this shot on top of Burch Mountain right before the razorback to the peak. I went up to the peak but the pictures I took there were actually rather boring.

Default Not so Bad *** but ....

My pretty basic KLX.

The side bags are modified bicycle panniers that have a bit of a plastic frame. There is a back panel, a top and partial sides, and a few bolts/nuts. A piece of recycled burned beach chair fits in between the Cycleracks and hooks into some webbing on the bags holding them securely.

Here is how not to stack your luggage on the lil KLX. I did a 500 miles offroad trip two weeks ago, mostly on secondary forest road and atv trails. It has been raining for a week and the trails were destroyed. It was not fun. As you can see, I had too much weight TOO HIGH on the bike. Moreover, it kept banging on my back as I was hitting bumps on the trail. If I keep the bike next year I'll be looking for some sort of saddle bags of stuff like that to keep the weight as low as possible.
