Did you have to do anything to them?

A couple of shots of my bike from a trail I followed this afternoon. It is a 2011 model in white plastics and it has now about 2500km (about 1500 miles) on the Tacho.

It's a Renthal CR High bend part n. 722-01. I haven't cut mine. Brake and throttle cable are a tight fit, but doable after you move things around. It's on my "to do" list to replace them with longer ones from Motion Pro for the throttle and HEL brake line, thou.
The clutch cable is a worse than tight fit. That cable is really short. I end up replacing it with a KLX300 clutch cable, part n. 54011-0009. It's a straight drop in and 1" (maybe a bit more) longer.

EXCELLENT way to start. My first bike was a '97 GSX-R 750, and my second was a '69 Triumph Tiger Hard Tail/Springer. I've had many since, and still have both of those. Great bikes that I really enjoy, but neither of them matches the fun I'm having on my KLX. I can't believe it took me this long to find out what I was missing. Erik, good job by you skipping all the steps (and expenses) that I went through on my way to dual sport heaven

I know it's off topic, but I'm going to show you my bikes, anyway
