Larger Rear Tire Size and Tire Irons

RE: Larger Rear Tire Size and Tire Irons
I'm running a Dunlop D606 (made in USA) 120/90-18 (which is a 5.00/4.10 inches) which is the biggest I would go and still have some clearance.
It's also interesting that a 100-series tire can really be anything from 3.9" to 4.2". And a 110-series can end up being the same width as a 100, depending on the manufacturer, if that doesn't add to the confusion. So, what's the moral of this story? I guess it's that you can't take anything for granted. Just because someone says a certain tire size won't fit doesn't mean that's a true statement.

As for IRC, Continental and Bridgestone being made in China, you would have to do some research online to find out if specific tire models are being made there. Good luck.
