Default D606 tire size vs tube size???

About to order a D606 from Rocky Mountain for very good price ($68.99), the only size to fit is the 120/90-18, which after searching seems to be a size that some are running. What about tube size? Available is 120/100-18 or 110/100-18...should I go a little smaller tube than the 120like the 110/100 because of the higher aspect ratio than the tire's 90 aspect ratio?

Hey Steve, first of all you can't just come on here and ask a question without introducing yourself[8D] Just messing I guess you can. Welcome to the site. I can't remember what the tube sizes I ordered were, I am running the Kenda Heavy Duty Tubes, and in 2 changes and 5,000 + miles on them I have never had a problem. Stick with the 120/90/-18 D606, someone on here I think ran a 130 tire, and I think it barely fit in the space, but remember the bigger the tire the more power it takes to get it to spin. A friend of mine has a 2003 KLR 250 and he stuck on the 130 606 and it rubbed on the pipe when the suspension came down. I know that's not a good comparison, but just food for thought. Now go register in the new members area...that's an order!!

Sorry about that, but it's my bro-in-law's bike, 2006 KLX250. I don't currently own a Kawi, although I've owned quite a few. I do know that forums are the place to get the real answers from the folks who own the same machine. I'm sure I'll be back for more help since I'll be helping him out some. I'll do a search, but the other thing is that he wants to gear it down some, so I told him I'd get hima smallerfront sprocket, but it doesn't look that easy to order.

Thanks!
