Default KX125 clutch plates? discard the judder spring?

Is anyone else using the KX125 friction plates in the the 250s? I have a few and burned out my clutch at the Shane Watts school and so am going to do a rebuild.

Has anyone used the extra friction plates by discarding the judder spring?

Thanks for the link.

I was wondering if anyone had any actual experience with running the extra plate, the KX plate, and what, if any difference, removing the judder spring makes.

Has anyone here actually done this?

I was wondering the same thing, not that my disks are burned up, I just hate the feel of the stock clutch and I'm hoping to make it slip smoother.

I removed the judder spring(s) and switched some of the friction plates to 13088-1090 PLATE-FRICTION $12.42.
The number of plates is as was.
I removed the "judder spring" from every bike I ever owned that had one. I use JASO MA. I really do not know what "judder" is. Removing the spring narrows the engaugement range.
