If that is your support vehicle, I would ALWAYS keep in front of me so I could keep an eYe on it!
If your going to do something at least take a look at these, they may have something a little more appropriate in your size, but they are spendy!

Well...I got and mounted a Kenda K270 5.10x17 on the front of my bike KLaX.
Gonna go bomb around a bit and give a full road report....but from quick testing on the acreage and gravel around the place the front 'sticks' better than the previous Motard tire for sure.
