I just bought an '09 yesterday in PA for $3300 with 5800 miles to replace my totalled '12 (t-boned a clueless soccermom that turned across my lane at an intersection) with some scrapes to the plactics and in sound mechanical shape. The guy I bought it from already jetted and added a FMF Q4 muffler and Power Bomb header plus some small things like new grips and fold away mirrors so I was I was happy with the price.

 

Let's try this scenario Two bikes Bone stock 1500 mi 2012 or 6000 mi 09 with full pipe, skid plate, led's, fender eliminator, new tires, folding mirrors, and a few other goodies. Both are clean and both same price. Which do you pick?

 

1600 for an all stock 06 that was only street ridden.

 

Harddock , that's gonna be a personal choice.. I would only consider the 2012 because it is likely totally unmolested - which provides me with the foundation I want to start my own set of mods for the engine, carb, etc... You see, most of the 09's mods don't matter to me at all..

On the other hand, if the 09 runs PERFECTLY, has the mods you want, and has no damage and no needed repairs, it could be a good deal for you.

 

I paid 2200 US (3K Cdn) for my 2011 with 3500 miles in July of this year, stock aside from skid plate.

If you keep looking there are deals... I had to drive 6 hours to get mine lol....
