Mileage effect on pricing
Ok, so I just bought my bike two months ago, but I'm not against the idea of selling it and getting a new bike in it's place. I have a 2001 Kawasaki ZX-6E that just turned 3K miles. I did tip the bike over when I first got it, once on each side, so there's a few small scratches in the fairings and on the backs of the mirrors. It is jetted and has a full D&D exhaust.
I ran a retail value on it through KBB (since bike prices run around retail in the South) and it came up around $4500 without the exhaust, jet kit, or accounting for mileage.
How much do you think the mileage will help me in pricing? And how much is tipping the bike over going to hurt me? I'm looking to get $5K for it. (By the time I paid taxes, insurance and paid to get it fixed up (carbs cleaned and new plugs) that's about what my payoff is).
