Hey mate, welcome.
The first thing that comes to mind is that the fuel tank breather it at least partially blocked. This would cause a vacuum to slowly build up in the tank till the fuel doesn't flow through to the carb.
Depending on your tank, either pull the breather hoses that go from the tank to near the rear shock (2009 onwards model) or just loosen up your fuel cap so that it doesn't seal properly and test. If that solves the problem, then you need to try a more permanent solution.
If it's not that, the next problem might be the drain pipes from the carb - so you'll be having a similar problem to riding through deep water where the drain pipes get blocked and the vacuum in the CV carb cannot cause enough force to pull up your diaphragm. Again, check the tubes aren't kinked or clogged up. It's actually worth just doing the T-connector mod to run some tube up to under the seat so if the bottom of the drain pipes gets clogged it can suck air in through that mod.
Outside of those suggestions I am not sure what it could be.

Welcome!
My 2006 has tank breather tubes running down by the rear shock too so your 2007 should be similar.
Could we have a safety switch issue here (kickstand or clutch lever kill switches)? The kickstand switch is real easy - follow the wires up from the kickstand switch to the connections under the seat, disconnect the switch-side wires from the harness-side, and the two harness wires should connect right up to each other, completely bypassing the kickstand switch. BEWARE!!! The motor will run in gear with the kickstand down which this switch is supposed to prevent.
