You are bout ready to start planning testing procedures.. Increase the FPS on the camera for better recordings.. 60 frames per second outta do it.

Once you are ready to start testing and observing, you'll need to start a new thread with an appropriate title for your "project"..

ill do it. I don't have a go pro or anything so not sure how I'm going to record it while driving.

Do you know a good 12v switched wire I can use to power the meter?

Im using the ignition wire in the harness on the rear of the bike....
I pushed the meter 12v into the ignition slot on the rear harness to share power for the video...
I've also tried using the fan slot too on the same black harness. they both work.

this is prob not safe. I can solder the or splice wires but I don't know enough abjure electrical to cut this wire and I'm too scared to do it because I don't want these circuits to be some how ruined.

You can get a Add A Circuit @ any auto parts store. Just plug it into the light fuse. It provides a fuse for the lights and a separate fuse for your accessory.

this is the harness I'm using..the blue wire is the wire for the meter ...im not going to keep it jammed into the harness like that cuz its obviously a bad idea.

this harness contains the ignition and radiator fan wires and I read that this is on the same circuit as the head lights / other lights.
is this where your saying I should install the "add a circuit"?
