klx dyno

this is a serious problem in the auto / possably bike community. humans input all the data for the car and weather, so really, you can make a 125 dirt bike look like a dragster. a lot of shop never have there stuff calabrated so its probally off a good amount right there. its the area under the curve kids, not peak power.

Computers= garbage in, by human= garbage out by,electrical device.
Bikes=garbage on with an ego(me)= large crash noise, followed by cussing and swearing.
Who cares if you make 566hp or 47hp. If you cant handle 1hp your in deep shi*. And what is 1hp everyone seems to forget 1hp aint no cake walk. Wrestle a horse lately?

Why horsepower anyway. Bring on the Kangaroo power. Any yes, wrestled one last week after smashing it with a hire ute, not for long though, Gerber drop point took care of him. Farkin' strong though.

The discussion will get allll heated until someone mentions their card just runs this particular game better and they start talking about "real world" usage and whatnot.
Really we should have you stock bike dyno'd, then after mods measured at the same facility. The actual #'s might not be entirely accurate, but the difference between them should be pretty accurate if they haven't changed anything.
I'd like to get mine done, take it out to the lot, switch out the needle to the KLX300 one, and see if there's any difference. Then do the same with the N1TC needle. Not to rehash that old argument, but it goes back to the "in theory" aspect of tech specs. Real world use is another story.
Besides, the 1st mod I should've done was the suspension. It's a world of difference and I can't wait to put my bike back together today with the new rear spring. It's black and badass.

Exactly when I started my bike made 18 and some change. Every thing I did I took it back to the same dyno and the guy was good enough to let me do it each time so I kept the variables the same. I wish he was still in business but oh well I'm done with this bike now anyway.
