Wow I sat on one of the 650's and I would never take it on trails, it felt like a over weight road bike. I really like the KLX 250S already, you will not be disapointed.

Hello to all, Hey Deej thanks for all the info on the bike,It sounds great.cant wait for the dealer to get them in here in Long Island.On saturday my son was riding his XR70 and I could not resist,Next thing I know I am riding wheelies back and forth in the back yard on his bike,I could not wipe the grin off my face for an hour..Man.. I guess i just love to ride!! Well, have to go for now.

I'm really looking forward to doing some trail riding, that's the great thing about this bike it's great on the road, and light enough for trails. Oh and the tires are about as aggresive a tire as can be allowed on the road, great tread. Feels stable aroung corners.

Hey Todd, I'll be home for lunch (1.5 miles from work) at 11:00 am pacific and I'll be back at 12:00 and I'll get the tire make and model.

I have recently purchased a KLX250s and so far I love it. However, I have only been on the bike twoce due to the wheather and my work schedule. I'm also new to this forum, actually this is my very first comment on a forum. I have been reading all the subjects about the new KLX250s and I just wanted to say thank you to all of you for the help and guidence that you have given me. Hey Todd and everyone, Yes my bike came with the D603's 4.60-18 on the back and 3.00-21 on the front, Both Dunlop. Again Welcome everyone If I haven't said it before.

Wow this category is new to the site, but is quickly becoming popular.

Well, my local dealer just called me back to say he's decided to let me take the test ride I demanded before I buy We'll see how it goes...

Huh the dealer said I couldn't ride it since it didn't have a license, but don't they have a dealer plate? I mean come on, what's up with that. Oh sure I was going to buy the bike no matter what, but it would have been nice to test it first. Good luck.
