I live in Long Island N.Y. and none of the dealers got in the new klx 250s yet.Did anyone
see it, ride it, buy it yet?just looking to get some feedback on the bike.Any info would be GREAT!!

Greetings again. Ordered mine 3 weeks ago, still hasen't shown up yet. I will be posting an article soon after I get some time on it. Man I hope it gets here soon, my permit is only good for three months before I have to take the test, and I want to get some experience on it before I show up for the test and dump it, LOL.

Whats up Deej, I am 35 years old and been riding my whole life and I cant get it out of my blood.I have been with out a bike for a couple of years now.Its time to get back into it.I have owned CR's, KX's, YZ's and quads(89 honda 250r,that thing was fast!).I just hope the klx 250 is going to be fast enought for me.I dont want a 400 or 650 too big!! (or heavy, I should say). The bike looks perfect for me and I hope it runs just as good. so keep us posted.

Hello Onestar99, funny you should post, I just got a call from P.A Power and my bike is in, even though I don't have the Kawasaki credit card yet. They said I could get everything without it, maybe because I have spent 10,000 there for work. I'll let you know what happens. Man I'm pumped. My first bike was a Hodaka 125 Enduro with the chrome fenders and tank, I was 14, then I bought a suzuki RM 80 from a kid that raced, and it had more power than the 125. Then I got a Yamaha 225 three wheeler, and let me tell you if you can ride a three wheeler you can ride anything. Then I bought a Zuzuki LT250R Quad (1985) As far as road bikes I had a Yamaha 650 and 750 special. This will be the first new anything I have bought including cars and trucks. We'll talk more I gota run.

Hello to all,

I just got my new KLX250S a few days ago. As far as I know I am the only one in Miami to have one. Called a bunch of dealers in the area, most had no idea when they would see one. Went through the cycle again and sure enough one dealer said he had one in the warehouse. I looked at all the other dual sports out there (200 - 250) range and bang for the buck, well built and quality parts the KLX250S is hard to beat. Hope everyone that is looking to get one get theirs soon. You're gonna love it. Great bike!!! A buddy of mine just got the Suzuki DR-Z400. I tried it nice bike too, but the seat is seriously high. After he saw the KLX he said wow maybe I should have waited and got what you have.

Hey Index I just got my new KLX 250S today, havent even been able to ride it yet, unloaded it in the dark, since my dealership is an hour away and didn't have time. Plus my permit is only good for daylight hours. Man I shouldn't have let my endorsment laps last time, had it since 1982, and thought....oh well. I too am the only one on the peninsula in Washington State to get one, in fact I ordered the bike three weeks ago and the dealership only got 2 in and they sold in a matter of minutes. Wow we are about as far from each other in this country as we can get, and yet we can share ideas, and feedback, cool. I gota get ahold of the other guy on the Peninsula so we can compare notes. I will be posting a ride report as time goes on. Great to meet both of you and am looking forward to many discusions. Peace.
