You're right, but you have to admit the Honda thing was interesting.

 

Hey guys, Not sure if this cam mod has been done on my bike yet or not. PO did do a lot of the mods before I bought it from him. Since I'm more of a monkey see monkey do than a monkey read monkey do, I'd rather just follow a video doing this mod "IF" possible.

Let me know if this is correct.

You will immediately see if its been done if the intake cam bolt is using the exh hole and vice versa-.

 

Thats why I asked. Relax, I removed it.

Peabrain, the MCM done correctly has an interesting side effect - instant starting. Assuming the carb is working correctly with fresh fuel, your bike will start nearly instantaneously when warm and within one or two seconds when cold.

This is actually one way you can tell that you've done the mod correctly..

it is an 2009 EFI model atm only snorkel is removed
i am planning to get other exhaust from GPR and add a Power commander and have a map done by pro´s
and do the cam mod (just before dyno tune)

ps if possible have a reflash instead of power commander
