No lid on my box. I do have the KDX one sitting on the shelf. I may pull the carb and swap the main jet to see what happens.

Changed the main jet to a dynojet .132. Woke up the top end a little pulls a little better. Has no problem pulling good all the way to red line.

Going to move the clip on the need down tomorrow and see what that does.

Just to note I am at sea level.

Yes I am. Thinking of going down to the 2nd notch.

Great mod, and great thread. Thanks for sharing your information, Marcelino, and for the excellent write-up, and taking the time to answer everyone's questions. And thanks to all the rest for adding their contributions, and testing it out and reporting the results. This is truly great stuff!

I have made this thread part of the FAQ/Sticky thread here: https://www.kawasakiforums.com/forum...10/#post282637, which is sticky at the top of this section.

You can find it in the list just below DirtSurfer's "Mod Day" and johnnyz62's KX fork conversion.

Agree 100% with NoBrakes comments , well said. I appreciate when someone shares what they have done. I know it is a lot of work to post up instructions and reply to questions.

What year KDX200 does the snorkel come from that fits the KLX250?

Finally moved the clip down the 4th position. Bike now pulls hard from idle to redline through all the gears.

Bike is real fun now on the street.

That is the key. Have you removed the backfire screen? that will make a difference as
well.
