Just wondering how many miles you had on yours and how the impeller looked. Just thinkine that it should be changed at some point and I am sure you have a LOT of experiance with impellers to go on.

I just ordered the skid plate. Now I am thinking of ordering the kick start so I can install the kickstart then skidplate.

Our impeller is metal ... no replacing unless a seal or sumthin fails. Completely unlike the impeller in the lower unit in your outboard which is rubber and needs to be replaced annually.

Thanks FM on the impeller. I wondered why I had not seen a thread about it. I actually trie to oder the KickStart but they dont recognize Guam as a shipping destination. Looks like I will have to call them.
