Hello, I am new here and have just purchased a KLX 250s, I pick it up next week. It is my first bike and I cannot wait to get started.

 

I just got to say that Kawasaki must be really grinning from ear to ear with the sales of this bike. Look at these forums and see how many hits all the other bikes in these forums are getting compared to this bike. Then again, this is "THE SITE" for all KLX 250s information. Kinda like that KLX 300 site I have seen linked here a post.

I'm going to make an assumption here. Since this is your first bike, you have little to no riding experience.

Please, do yourself a huge favor and find out about MSF Basic Riding Courses in your area, then sign up and take one. In the long run, it will more than pay for itself, both in tangible and intangible benefits.

I second what Marty said, not living in the States I haven't done the MSF course however I have done a couple of rider training courses here in Aus and they are worth every cent

Getting signed up for MSF, only problem is how booked up they are but will be in a class soon. But thanks for the welcome and hope you all will not get sick of my newbie questions....
