Default New Skid Plate....

....fabbed up and painted with the leftover Krylon Chrome paint from my front brake line guards ! Total spent: ~$15. Bring on the rocks !

The pops into the stock guard from the top near the rear to hold it on there.

Default RE: New Skid Plate....

Thanks. Even though it looks like it may need gusseting, I have it shaped so tight to the frame and those loops coming off each side that I don't think much of it can be pounded up.....and def not into anything critical since I left the original skid intact and those side frame loops guard the case. From the point of view of the tire and any turn angles, everything, including the rad hoses, is protected from debris. I haven't had it onto any rocky trails yet, though I did beat up the one on my old CRF pretty bad, so I guess time will tell !
