I just wanted to say thanks to all the past and present soldiers...

My brother was recently injured over in Afghanistan when his Hummer was hit by an RPG (rocket propelled grenade) and had to be flown back to D.C. (He'll make a full recovery)This experience has been tough on me and my family and I just wanted to say how much I appreciate everyone who has ever served our country and thank them and their families for their sacrafices... God Bless America...

What are your brothers injuries??? I got knocked up by a mortar in Iraq and have a nifty C-Section looking scar. Wish him the best!

He has shrapnal in both his legs, left arm, burns on his neck. I guess he can't walk and can't even sit in a wheel chair without pain. I guess his wounds are bad enough that he needs 6 months of therapy. He was driving the hummer and the rpg went through his door and then over his lap and through the passanger door. We're just thankfull it didn't blow up because that woulda been horrible.

Damn. I just read about the new WRAMC facility the other day. Looks like he's going to be in good hands. Remember, what he really wants, most of all, is alcohol and women!

As a Air Force member myself and having 3 cousins over seas I too want to say thanks to all that are there now and all that are going to go. I have been fortunate to not have to go yet but sometime I may get the call and I will be ready.

Sorry to hear about your brother but good to hear he is gonna be okay.

THANKS TO ALL SERVICE MEMBERS!!! GOD BLESS

Raising the child of a fallen soldier, I have seen the hardship a loss can be on the family.

THANK YOU ALL that are serving in the past, present and future and GOD BLESS!

Thank God the vast majority of people that don't 'support the war' at least have enough common sense and human decency to respect and support our service members.

On another note, the Army paid my parents travel expenses and lodging when they came to see me when I got back to Bragg. They have also flown family members of other Soldiers to Germany and got them lodging for free. I'm sure the Marines, Navy and Air Force do this as well. So definately don't hold back on seeing him because of financial reasons!

Congrats on the bros recovery and also to you otts. My hat is off to those who do us proud.
topic move to the appropriate place was that we can all see what our brothers and sisters do to protect our country and life style.
